Since we are kids, we were told those are wrong and these are right. Something that we can and should do;Something that we can't and shouldn't do. No matter we like or dislike, we still have to follow. During childhood, we follow the rules just because for avoiding from punishments.
When we have grown up and become adults who have the ability to make decision and differentiate right and wrong, have you ask yourself "why it is wrong if i am doing this?" ?

Is there any standard to measure "rightness" and "wrongness" of something? This is the question that I have asked myself for many times.

If we are going to analyze right or wrong of an action, we need to know what is the purpose of the action and effect of the action.

For example, he steals food from a person called A for saving his grandmother who is in hunger and she may die if still no food for her.





This action is right or wrong? We need to know the purpose and effect of the action first. Purpose is for saving a life;Effect is his grandmother is not going to die. Then how about A? his food is stolen. Does A need the food? what is effect to A? We also need to know is there any method for him to save his grandmother other than stealing? These are the things we need to know to determine his action whether is right or wrong. Then it is right or wrong, depend on what you think.
